In 2003, I took my first class from Wella Education Studio in Rockefeller Center. There were a lot of rules to follow, which I did.  I learned from the rules, and now I know how to break them.

When ombré haircolor came out, I knew I was going to break the rules. Traditional hair colorists who want to play it safe follow the rules and continue to give their clients the same color year after year. . To be honest that’s a waste of money.  If that’s what my client wants, I’ll give her some tips for doing at-home hair color well with CLAIROL haircolor

For a safer hair color choice, look for products with less ammonia or ammonia free.Organic Hair Color

Tip for DIY:  Always get semipermanent Haircolor for yourself to color at home.

Tip for DIY: Set the timer, Hair color Processing time shouldn’t more than 45 minutes.

I seriously like to take risks and break the rules. I like the feeling of my heart beating with excitement and passion as I support my Asian clients who want to go really blonde, my Caucasian clients who want to try jet black haircolor, and busy moms whowant to try newest ombré so they don’t have to worry about retouching their roots later. I love how my creative clients give me a new chance to break though in my art.

Working in the heart of New York City, where fashion and beauty trends are constantly changing, we often change our haircolor a lot.   Hair coloring is so popular, especially in New York City, with 90% of women and 30% of men using hair dye. .
Reddish Cinnamon, Light Ash Blonde, Medium Champagne, Butterscotch, Jet Black –there are so many to choose from..   Forget about the rules based on eye or skin color and pick the color you want! When you are confident, you will wear it better in anything else.

There’s only one rule you should always follow when it comes to hair color: Always book a consultation in advance with your hairdresser. That way, you can show an image to your hairdresser to make sure you get exactly what you want.

Get ready for a beautiful new hair color!

Love to you all,
