True Powerful Hair Length

We often say “Staying on trend becomes tricky as we get older.” I love the look of a cold shoulder sweater with ripped jeans, but how old is too old to pull it off? Never has this dilemma been so confusing as when it comes to our hair style.

Today I want to focus on women 60 years and older. I believe that women in their 60s are at a wonderful age, they are true powerful and beautiful, and they should look great. Of course looking great being that looks which makes them feel good.

The good news is that there are a lot of good haircare and skincare products out there. One thing that I have observed, however, is that we do not try products long enough to give them a chance to work. I recommend giving a product at least 6-9 months – think of it like going to a gym – you need to be consistent for a sustained period of time in order to have the best effect…

Now when it comes to hair, I believe that older woman should strongly consider having longer hair. I’m not saying your hair has to be bra length or even shoulder length, I mean the length just a little past your chin. Sure, conventional wisdom says that older women should have short hair. But the best hair style is a matter of facial shape, body type, hair length and type, and season, not age.

Older women can look fabulous with longer hair and a splash hair color. The right highlight can be a great way to incorporate color, while low light helps give the illusion of thickness to thinning hair. By contrast, hair that is cut too short can make older woman look chubby and appear short and even older.

I believe that longer hair can make women in 60’s or older look 20 years younger, sometimes more. Also when you look younger you feel better about yourself.  So ladies, take notice!

I love to hear when people compliment my 60-year-old mother by saying how good she looks. My mother has longer hair that’s past her shoulder. as does my 93 –year-old grandmother. Grandma still gets her hair permed monthly, and she puts her hair up every morning with bobby pins…I love learning about beauty from my mother and my grandmother. They have always had longer hair, and have never given-in and gone with a pixie cut.

Tip: If you don’t know what makes you look good and feel happy, that’s ok. Just give yourself a chance to grow your hair. Let’s start with a child’s routine,  brushing your hair morning and night with Mason Pearson Hair Brush

Tip: While your taking break from cutting your hair short, try some hair supplements plus scalp oil treatments twice a week Scalp oil

Wish you happiness with newly longer hair
